Every day more and more people are being vaccinated, bringing us closer to the end of the pandemic. With this, certain airlines have come forward with vaccine incentives and freebies for fully vaccinated passengers.  Passengers simply need to display their vaccination cards to take advantage of the offers. So far, Australian based airlines have been the most proactive to offer vaccination incentives to members.

Qantas & Jetstar

Qantas and Jetstar are establishing an incentive program to reward vaccinated frequent flyer members. Members aged 18 and above who are fully vaccinated have the option of receiving 1000 frequent flyer points, 15 status credits, or a $20 flight discount coupon.

They’ll also be placed into a draw for one of ten mega prizes, including a year’s worth of domestic flights, free lodging at 345 Accor hotels, and free fuel at BP service stations.

Members must upload their Medicare vaccination certificate to the Qantas app in order to earn the reward. Qantas confirms that no personal information will be kept on file, with the certificate information being destroyed once it has been confirmed. People who have already been vaccinated will also be eligible for the prizes, not just those who are vaccinated once the campaign begins.

Virgin Australia

Virgin Australia Airlines has introduced a ‘VA-X and Win’ offer in which winners will receive business class tickets as well as one million Velocity points.

The airline’s VA-X & Win promotion will allow completely vaccinated Australians to enter a competition to win one of 251 prizes, with the grand prize being 1 million Velocity frequent flyer points.

100,000 Velocity points, complimentary business and economy flights, Virgin lounge memberships, and pyjamas are among the other rewards. According to the airline, the prize pool is worth more than $150,000.

All Australians over the age of 18 who are fully vaccinated at the end of the year are eligible to enter.

Indigo Airlines

According to an official announcement by Indigo Airlines, all travellers who have received at least one dose of the Covid-19 vaccine will receive a 10% discount.

According to the airline’s announcement, the discount would be applied to the base rate, and only “limited inventory” would be available. “The deal is only accessible to vaccinated travellers aged 18 and over who are in India at the time of booking and have already received at least one dose of the Covid-19 vaccination in India,” the company stated.
