Four Medical Aviation Professionals Identified Among the Victims

Emergency crews were dispatched to the scene after reports that visible smoke could be seen rising from a remote hillside. Rescue teams later confirmed that all four people on board were killed in the accident.

These crew members were later identified to be:

  • Keelan Clark, Generation Jets pilot
  • Ali Kawsara, Generation Jets pilot
  • Sarah Clark, Trans Aero MedEvac flight nurse
  • Jamie Novick, Trans Aero MedEvac flight nurse

Authorities have stated that the plane was a private aircraft travelling within Mexico. The aircraft lost contact shortly before the crash, though the authorities have not yet confirmed what caused the crash. According to the companies, the fixed wing aircraft involved in the accident was being operated by Generation Jets, longtime partner Trans Aero MedEvac in southeast New Mexico.

Generation Jets and Trans Aero MedEvac Mourn the Loss of Four Dedicated Crew Members

The purpose for the flight was initially a medical transport mission when the crash occurred which sadly led to fatalities.

The two companies in a joint statement stated:

“Today, both organizations continue to mourn the loss of four extraordinary crew members. Those we lost were more than coworkers. They were family, caregivers, aviators, teammates, and friends who dedicated their lives to serving others with compassion, professionalism, and courage.”

Both companies remain fully cooperative with the National Transportation Safety Board and Federal Aviation Administration as the investigation remains ongoing.
