K2 Aviation has completed a deal with Aircastle for two Boeing 737-800 Boeing Converted Freighters (BCFs), which ASL Airlines will operate, making it a new airline customer for K2 Aviation.

Boeing 737-800BCFs Expand Cargo Operations

The two aircraft will strengthen ASL Airlines’ freighter fleet as demand for air cargo capacity continues to grow. The Boeing 737-800BCF is designed for short- and medium-haul cargo operations, offering operators flexibility across regional freight networks.

The aircraft type can carry approximately 23.9 tonnes of cargo and is designed to support efficient point-to-point freight operations.

K2 Aviation Expands Airline Customer Base

The agreement with Aircastle and ASL Airlines marks another step in K2 Aviation’s growth in the commercial aviation and aircraft leasing market.

ASL Airlines operates cargo and passenger services across Europe and other international markets, with its network supporting express, e-commerce and general air freight operations. The latest aircraft additions are expected to provide the airline with additional capacity as it continues to develop its cargo operations.
