Jet2 Expands Popular Greece Program

Jet2 has announced it will expand capacity to four popular Greek destinations ahead of expected tourism demand in 2026.

Over 30,000 seats to Crete (Chania), Crete (Heraklion), Kos and Santorini will be available from UK hubs such as Birmingham Airport, Leeds Bradford, London Stansted, and Manchester Airport this summer.

Greece remains a popular demand for British tourists, and with Jet2’s expansion, holidaymakers will have even more flexibility and availability for their Greek holiday.

Steve Heapy, CEO of Jet2Holidays, celebrates their recent network and seat expansion:

“Greece is an enormously popular destination, and it continues to appeal to customers and independent travel agents looking to enjoy some much-needed sunshine. As the UK’s favourite airline and tour operator, we know just how much holidaymakers love these Greek destinations, and we are delighted to be once again stepping in to meet demand. “

“Much-needed sunshine” For Expansion Ahead of Tourist Demands

Over 3.5 million seats will be on sale following Jet2’s recent expansion of their Greece program, with 131 existing routes and 25 new routes.

Jet2 announced 15 destinations in Greece: Athens, Corfu, Crete (Chania), Crete (Heraklion), Thessaloniki (Halkidiki), Kalamata, Kefalonia, Kos, Lesvos (Mytilene), Preveza, Samos (new for Summer 26), Santorini, Skiathos, Rhodes, and Zante. This selection of destinations offers customers greater flexibility and convenience when travelling.

Heapy shares:

“Summer 26 will be our biggest ever summer programme to Greece, and we are cementing our position as the UK’s largest airline from the UK to sunshine favourite by putting on even more flights.”
