Saudi Arabian low-cost carrier Flyadeal will launch non-stop flights between Riyadh (RUH) and Mumbai (BOM) on Oct. 3, 2026, making Mumbai its second destination in India after Hyderabad (HYD). The airline will operate the route five times a week with Airbus A320neo aircraft, adding more than 7,400 seats between the two cities each month.
Flyadeal Expands Indian Network
The new service follows Flyadeal’s entry into India, with flights to Hyderabad starting in July. The airline said Mumbai’s status as a major financial and commercial centre makes it a valuable addition to its international network.
Flights will operate on all days except Tuesdays and Fridays, with departures from Riyadh at 00:55 a.m. and arrivals in Mumbai at 07:40 a.m. The return service will depart Mumbai at 08:40 a.m., arriving in Riyadh at 10:15 a.m.
The schedule is also designed to provide connections via Riyadh to other Saudi destinations, including Jeddah (JED), Madinah (MED) and Dammam (DMM).
A320neo Aircraft to Operate New Route
Flyadeal will use its Airbus A320neo aircraft on the route. The aircraft features an all-Economy Class cabin with 186 seats, larger overhead bins and USB-A and USB-C charging ports at every seat.
The airline currently operates a fleet of 47 Airbus A320-family aircraft from bases across Saudi Arabia, serving more than 40 destinations in the Kingdom, the Middle East, Europe, North Africa and South Asia.
As part of its expansion strategy, Flyadeal aims to operate more than 100 aircraft and serve over 100 destinations by 2030, with Airbus A321neos and A330-900neos expected to join its fleet from 2027.
