Classic Austrian lager Stiegl-Goldbräu has become Austrian Airlines’ new signature beer. To be served across all travel classes, the cans will bear a distinctive Austrian Airlines themed design.

A Commitment to Austrian Products

Known as the “Liquid Gold of Salzburg”, the partnership with Stiegl-Goldbräu highlights the airline’s commitment to offering premium Austrian products onboard its flights.

On long-haul flights, the beverage will be available in Business, Premium Economy and Economy Class, while on short-haul flights it will be served in Business Class.

Discussing the partnership, Stiegl Master Brewer Christian Pöpperl said:

“We are delighted that Austrian Airlines is taking off with Stiegl-Goldbräu onboard. Travellers can now be bid farewell or welcomed with a taste of Salzburg’s beer culture. All that remains for us to say is: Cheers above the clouds!”
