United Arab Emirates national carrier Wizz Air Abu Dhabi announced today that it will be operating three new routes from Abu Dhabi. The carrier will fly twice a week to Belgrade in Serbia from 19 May, to Sohag in Egypt from 29 May and to Luxor, Egypt from 4 June.
Kees Van Schaick, Managing Director of Wizz Air Abu Dhabi, commented on the announcement: “Today’s announcement underpins our long-term commitment to providing low fares and high quality onboard experiences to our customers. The new connection between the capital of the United Arab Emirates and these three new cities within Europe and the Middle East will continue to stimulate air traffic demand and support the growth of Abu Dhabi’s tourism sector and economic agenda. We look forward to welcoming passengers on board our new, green and ultra-efficient fleet.”
Wizz Air Abu Dhabi says the tickets are already on sale on its website and through the carrier’s mobile app, and encourages passengers to book using the WIZZ Flex option which allows for cancellations up to three hours before departure without any fees.
