Ryanair Announces Record Schedule for Croatia

Ryanair’s biggest ever Croatia schedule has been announced which includes 9 based aircraft following a 900 million USD investment, 118 routes including two new additions from Dubrovnik to Budapest and Gdansk, and a 4.3 million expected traffic growth.

Supporting Croatia’s economic growth post-COVID, and aircraft costs, Ryanair builds on their efforts to build tourism traffic, and offer low-cost fares to Croatia’s citizens.

Over 850 weekly flights will be delivered ahead of the 2026 summer season, and an expected 3,500 jobs will be available in Croatia.

Ryanair’s Chief Commercial Officer, Jason McGuinness, celebrates the milestone schedule:

“As Europe and Croatia’s No.1 airline, Ryanair is pleased to announce our biggest‑ever Croatia Summer schedule, delivering 4.3 million seats (+5% growth), operating 118 routes – including exciting new routes from Dubrovnik to Budapest and Gdansk. This record schedule is underpinned by 9 based aircraft (US$900M investment) across our 3 bases in Dubrovnik, Zadar, and Zagreb, and delivers vital year-round connectivity for Croatia’s citizens and visitors, while supporting over 3,500 jobs.

Tourism Traffic and Economic Growth Following Ryanair Schedule

Croatia benefits from the significant traffic and year-round tourism to the country, as surrounding airlines bring economic growth.

Ryanair calls on the Croatian Government to scrap outdated CAA tax which increases access costs for passengers and is commented as ‘unnecessary ‘by the airline.
