Canadian airline WestJet won The Airline Passenger Experience Association’s 2026 Apex award at the APEX global expo in Long Beach, California. It also showcased its uniform in the Professional Clothing Fashion Show on the APEX global expo.
The Airline Passenger Experience Association Awards
The Airline Passenger Experience Association partnered with TripIt to recognise the airlines across the world based on neutral, third-party passenger feedback.
Since 2017, APEX has been recognising airlines with five star and four star ratings in different categories such as global airlines, major airlines, regional airlines and low-cost carriers.
WestJet has earned the four star major airlines rating for the second time in a row after receiving it for the first time in 2025 awards.
Alex Mitchell, Vice President, Guest Experience, said,
“This recognition is a direct reflection of the passion, dedication, and excellence our frontline teams brought to life this year. It’s a huge win for our entire WestJet team—and I couldn’t be prouder.”
