Turkish Airlines has just announced the redesign of their on-board amenity kits. Collaborating with the luxury fashion brand Lanvin, business class passengers will indulge in a unique range of new items. These amenities have also been redesigned with a focus on sustainability whilst still keeping Lanvin’s modern luxury elements. The Turkish flag carrier is currently the airline that flies to the most countries in the world as of 2024, and is therefore leading in its field. The airline offers only two classes, economy and business, business class being where Lanvin’s new products will circulate.

Enhanced Amenity Kits

Lanvin’s specially designed amenity kit blends modern luxury, elegance and environmental sustainability. Business class passengers on Turkish Airlines will receive:

  • Hand & Body Lotion
  • Lip Balm, enriched with cocoa seed oil and shea oil
  • Eye Mask
  • Pair of Socks
  • Earplugs
  • Toothbrush

These items will be contained in luxurious Lanvin leather bags, offered in brown, black, tan and cream colours. They have not only upgraded their amenity kits, but also recently revamped their dining experience for business class passengers, now offering the “worlds oldest bread”.

Sustainability

Not only focusing on luxury, Lanvin has also designed these new amenity kits with an eco-conscious focus too. Both the eye mask and socks are made from recycled materials, as well as the toothbrush being crafted from bamboo. The ear plugs, usually coming in a small plastic package, here will come in a paper package to minimize single-use plastics. All of these seemingly small changes reflect Turkish Airlines’ commitment to its zero-waste policy. Currently, Turkish Airlines are implementing the use of Sustainable Aviation Fuels (SAF) on its flights. At the minute, they use this fuel once a week on long-haul European flights, and have declared their support for further development into this fuel type. This fuel type reduces carbon emissions by 87%, and if implemented globally could revolutionize the aviation industry.

Do you like the look of these new amenity kits? Would it compel you to book in a different class of travel? Let us know down below.
