Holiday operator Jet2 has just announced more cancellations of holidays and flights across the UK, with Newcastle Airport most affected.

In a recent announcement, Jet2 told their customers that it had taken the difficult decision to suspend its flights and holidays to at least three destinations.

Flights and holidays to Prague, Paris from all UK bases, excluding the East Midlands, are suspended until at least November 23. Further flights to Budapest from all UK bases excluding the East Midlands are also suspended up to November 25.

The airline is set to cancel flights between Newcastle Airport, and Prague.

What has the airline said?

Jet2 commented:

We are obviously very disappointed to be making this announcement, as we know how much our customers look forward to their well-deserved holidays. We can assure our customers and partners that we remain completely committed to these fantastic destinations. We would like to thank our customers for their continued patience and understanding.

What will happen with customers who have holidays booked?

The statement by Jet2 said:

Where customers are affected by any programme changes, we have been repeatedly recognised for how we have been looking after them, and affected customers will receive a full cash refund.
