Jet2.com and Jet2CityBreaks have expanded their Winter 2026/2027 Christmas markets programme with the launch of Strasbourg and Colmar as new festive destinations. The announcement comes just months after the leisure airline and city break specialist unveiled an extended winter schedule.

Strasbourg Services from Edinburgh, Manchester and London Stansted
The latest additions mean the companies will operate their largest-ever Christmas markets programme next season, offering 15 destinations across Europe.
Flights and city breaks will run from late November until the week before Christmas, timed to coincide with peak festive celebrations.
Strasbourg will be served twice weekly from Edinburgh (EDI), Manchester (MAN) and London Stansted (STN).
From EDI, exclusive Monday and Friday services will operate between Nov. 27 and Dec. 21. MAN will see Thursday and Sunday departures from Nov. 26 to Dec. 20. STN will also offer exclusive Thursday and Sunday flights over the same period.
Located in France’s Alsace region, Strasbourg is home to one of Europe’s oldest Christmas markets, dating back to 1570. The city’s Grande Ile, a UNESCO World Heritage site, transforms into a winter attraction filled with market stalls, festive lighting and traditional wooden chalets.

Colmar Access via Strasbourg
Customers visiting Colmar will fly into Strasbourg Airport (SXB) before making their own onward journey by rail to the town.
Colmar, known for its half-timbered houses and canals, hosts several smaller Christmas markets spread across its old town. From late November through December, the destination draws visitors seeking a more intimate festive atmosphere.
Jet2CityBreaks customers can choose from two- to five-star hotels in Strasbourg and three- to four-star accommodation options in Colmar.

Biggest Programme to Date
For Winter 2026/2027, Jet2.com and Jet2CityBreaks will operate Christmas market flights from 13 UK bases, including Belfast International (BFS), Birmingham (BHX), Bristol (BRS), Glasgow (GLA), Leeds Bradford (LBA) and Newcastle International (NCL).
Steve Heapy, CEO of Jet2.com and Jet2holidays, said demand for festive city breaks remains strong among customers and independent travel agents. He said the expansion provides greater choice for travellers seeking seasonal experiences across Europe.
Customers can book flight-only options with Jet2.com or ATOL-protected packages with Jet2CityBreaks, available from a £60 per person deposit.
