IndiGo and Singapore Tourism Board (STB) signs a year-long Memorandum of Understanding (MoU). The MoU is intended to promote Singapore as a leading leisure and business destination for Indian travellers. This marks IndiGo’s first MoU with a national tourism board and STB’s with an Indian Airline.

MoU Partnership

Singapore consistently ranks among IndiGo’s top three international travel destinations and India remains one of Singapore’s top three for tourism. According to IndiGo, Indian visitor arrivals exceeded 500,000, in the first half of 2025. Singapore connects to 15 Indian cities via Changi Airport, the most connected airport in Southeast Asia, giving travellers access to the city-state.

IndiGo stated that, it will start offering IndiGoStretch from Aug. 9, 2025, following 60 years of India-Singapore diplomatic relations. IndiGoStretch is the airlines tailor-made business products, on flights connecting Singapore, Delhi, and Mumbai. IndiGo also intends to expand and strengthen connectivity between the two countries.

IndiGo and STB recently launched a successful campaign earlier this year aimed at travellers wanting to travel to the region. This partnership aims to further spotlight Singapore’s hidden gems and expand its reach to drive demand for travel to Singapore from all over India. The year-long campaign will showcase Singapore’s multifaceted appeal, giving customers different ways of experiencing Singapore’s iconic and hidden spots.

Pieter Elbers, chief executive officer at IndiGo said that the airline is delighted to partner with STB to boost tourism and travel between the two countries. He stated that with flights from nine destinations and access to connections across the airlines network, they are well positioned to cater to the growing demand on these routes. He also said IndiGo is confident that its customers will enjoy IndiGoStretch, especially the premium travel experience to Singapore.
