Flexjet, a leading luxury private jet company based in the United States, became the first customer to receive the inaugural Embraer Praetor 600E fleet on Sept. 18, 2026. Part of a $7 billion deal between Flexjet and Embraer in February 2025, this launch aircraft marks a new chapter in their long-standing partnership.
Embraer Praetor 600E
The new Embraer Praetor 600E comes equipped with Embraer’s unique Smart Window™, a 42-inch 4K OLED monitor useful for video conferencing and entertainment purposes. The screen is also connected to three real-time external mounted cameras that can be used for real-time view at a high resolution. The Embraer Praetor 600E offers a range of 4,018 nautical miles (7,441 kilometres), making it suitable for intercontinental travel between major hubs such as New York and London.
The Partnership between Flexjet and Embraer
This deal forms part of a $7 billion agreement announced by the two companies in February 2025, which includes the Praetor 600E, Praetor 500E and Phenom 300E. This delivery continues a partnership of over two decades, including the debut launches of the Praetor 500 and Praetor 600 in 2019 with Flexjet.
President and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Embraer Executive Jets, Michael Amalfitano, said:
“This milestone reflects the strength of our longstanding relationship, the winning combination of next-generation features onboard the Praetor 600E, and Flexjet’s continued confidence in Embraer’s ability to deliver industry-leading aircraft that meet the evolving needs of its bespoke customers.”
Michael Silvestro, CEO of Flexjet, expressed similar sentiment towards their partnership:
“This milestone delivery continues a success story we have had with Embraer Executive Jets that began back in 2003. Embraer’s unwavering commitment to innovation, exemplified by the Praetor 600E, continues to deliver the breakthroughs that enable us not only to meet those expectations, but exceed them.”
Flexjet expects to receive 12 brand new Embraer Praetor 600Es by the end of the year.
