Emirates is indeed a pioneer of innovation when it comes to elevating the in-flight experience for its generations of loyal passengers. In a new venture, the airline has partnered with Irish beauty and organic luxury brand, VOYA, to introduce a new range of  two bespoke Eau de Toilette fragrances. Available exclusively in Emirates First and Business class cabins, these fragrances embody a fusion of nature, luxury and global travel sensibilities.

The Sky Just Got Sweeter

This unique collaboration marks the first time VOYA has developed signature perfumes, all inspired by their dedication to organic and understated luxury. These soothing nature-based fragrances have been crafted and curated specifically for Emirates, and encapsulate the sophistication of both partners. For Emirates and VOYA to co-produce this duo of luxury fragrances is a testament to their commitment to long-lasting comfort with a spritz of elegance—providing passengers with an indulgent sensory experience throughout their journey.

These exclusive elixirs will feature on 400 Emirates flights each day across their network, and are elegantly presented in gold and turquoise 50ml muted glass flasks. The contrast of gold and turquoise is certainly inspired by the magic of the sunset over the ocean—the quintessential and breathtaking in-flight view of the sky. Emirates will additionally commission hundreds of thousands of VOYA Eau de Toilette bottles each year so travellers can rest assured that the sky will stay just as sweet for the future to come.

Middle Eastern Heritage and Irish Essence

To conceive these signature scents, Emirates and VOYA conducted extensive research into global industry fragrance trends, creating two scents that resonate with both brands and their identities. Their goal was to create a confluence of cultures, drawing inspiration from the verdant and lush landscapes of the Emerald Isle along with the decadent heritage of the Middle East.

Irish VOYA founders Mark and Kira Walton, with their years of experience working with global luxury fragrances underscore this, Mark comments:

I have always loved the forest as much as the ocean, so I wanted to create a fresh and earthy fragrance. There is a lot of depth in this fragrance and the base notes become quite pronounced after the initial top notes subside.

These limited-edition scents are tailored to both men and women. The male fragrance is a heady blend of bergamot, pepper and white florals, reminiscent of rich Arab aromas and their spicy yet smooth nature.  The feminine fragrance by contrast is saturated with notes of honeysuckle, neroli and citrus. Kira’s gives us a glimpse into her own fascination with the revitalising and delicate floral notes of the feminine fragrance:

Honeysuckle is often found on coastal cliffs in Ireland – along with being a beautiful plant it’s one synonymous with my childhood. It was important for me to pair this with fresh citrus notes like Orange, Basil and Vetiver, balanced with woody notes like Cedarwood and Gurjun Balsam. The fragrance is unashamedly sweet but uplifting, a perfect travel companion.

Organic Spa Luxuries

VOYA’s luxurious fragrances are not the only wellness products designed for Emirates passengers. Available in both First and Business Class washrooms, these perfumes are part of a wider offering of VOYA’s organic spa products. The range includes shampoo, conditioner, body wash, hand cream and soap—all crafted from natural seaweed harvested from Ireland’s coast.

Passengers flying in Emirates’ A380 Onboard Shower Spa or using the complimentary showers in the luxury lounges can further immerse themselves in the full VOYA experience. From revitalising rosemary and mint to tranquil lavender and rosemary or soothing lime and mandarin, these organically sourced products further enhance Emirates and their commitment to eco-friendly luxury.

With sustainable packaging and cruelty-free principles, VOYA continues to redefine in-flight wellness for all Emirates travellers, fostering a fragrant journey for all.
