American ultra-low-cost carrier Avelo Airlines has announced plans to extend its services from Southern Connecticut’s Tweed-New Haven Airport (HVN) to four new nonstop destinations: Atlanta, Charlotte, Knoxville, and Destin.
This expansion solidifies Avelo’s position as the leading provider of nonstop routes from Connecticut, boasting 21 destinations in total and surpassing any other airline operating within the state.

Avelo Airlines’ New routes Begin in May 2024
Avelo Airline’s new routes will be linking Southern Connecticut directly to Atlanta’s Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport, Charlotte’s Concord-Padgett Regional Airport, Knoxville’s McGhee Tyson Airport, and Destin / Fort Walton Beach Airport.
The flights will operate on Boeing Next-Generation 737 aircraft with introductory one-way fares starting at $62. Customers can make reservations at AveloAir.com.
