Latvian airline airBaltic has launched in-seat ordering onboard its flights. The service, which is gradually being introduced across all flights, will allow passengers to order from the airCafe menu using their mobile devices.

Delivered to your Seat

On Starlink-equipped aircraft, customers can place orders onboard by accessing the Skynet homepage and navigating to the Skynet airCafe ordering service.

As well as placing their orders, the service allows customers to access special offers and discounts on fresh food, check availability and prices of menu options and track their order status.

Passengers can use Apple Pay, Google Pay, their bank card or bank links to make payment, with airBaltic club members earning loyalty points on eligible purchases and a 10% discount on hot and soft drinks. Orders are delivered by cabin crew directly to passengers’ seats.

Skynet Onboard Portal

Launched in March this year, the Skynet Onboard Portal enables passengers to access digital services including live flight information and tracking, details about their destination, and onboard offers. Another feature of the portal is the shopping platform airMall.  Passengers purchasing through airMall earn one airBaltic Club point for every euro spent, and can also take advantage of partner offers from platforms such as Booking.com, Sixt and GetYourGuide.
