South Korean low-cost airline T’way Air has announced that they will be rebranding to Trinity Airways in 2026. This remodel will allow the carrier to renew its image, with a new focus on global expansion.

T’way Air to Trinity Airways
Having been acquired by Daemyung Sono Group – the largest hospitality company in Korea – in June, T’way Air will rebrand as Trinity Airways in 2026. This revamp is set to be accompanied by a change of livery, updated uniforms, and a delivery of the first of five Airbus A330neos.
The airline has stated:
“Trinity comes from the Latin word ‘Trinitas’, meaning three come together as one to form completeness. By combining diverse fields of the hospitality industry into a new synergy, Trinity Airways represents a symbolic turning point.”
As Trinity Airways, the airline aims to expand their global network with the addition of new aircraft to their fleet alongside new routes. This will also enable the airline to promote their image as a hybrid carrier of both short- and long-haul flights – shaking the budget-only perception of T’way Air.

About T’way Air
T’way Air was first established as Hansung Airlines in 2005, creating a milestone as Korea’s first low-cost carrier. The airline carried out their inaugural flight between the domestic destinations of Cheongju and Jeju in April 2005.
In 2010, Hansung Airlines rebranded as T’way Air. The airline initally offered domestic flights across Korea, and carried out their first international flight to Bangkok the following year.
Currently, T’way Air operates a fleet of 44 aircraft and provides flights to 43 destinations across Asia, Europe, North America, and Oceania. This includes the recent resumption of daily services from Kansai, Japan to Guam which were paused due to the global pandemic.
