GMR Success Extends To Other Mainstream Indian Airports
GMR, who also own Delhi International Airport, has witnessed other awards. Consequently, they have retained the award for the third year running. Delhi International Airport has risen up the World Airport League rankings as a knock-on effect, currently standing at 45th place, having previously been ranked at 50.
The aforementioned awards are judged upon feedback from air travellers from over 100 countries, who complete the World Airport Survey questionnaires across hundreds of airports. The surveys are collected throughout a six-month period. The questions in the survey focus on many key performance indicators. These can include the quality of facilities, speediness during departure and arrival, security measures and how seamless the airport experience is for passengers.
