Vietravel Airlines received a reissued air transport business licence after doubling its charter capital to 2.6 trillion Vietnamese dong, as reported by the online business newspaper Báo Đầu tư. The reissue comes during an ownership and operational restructuring following T&T Group becoming the carrier’s new majority strategic shareholder in late 2024.

The New Business Licence

The new licence lists four corporate shareholders. T&T Aviation Transport and Trading JSC holds a 49.2% stake, BVIM Fund Management holds 19.9%, T&T International Logistics Superport and Centre Company Limited holds 16.4%, and Trang Thi Trade and Services JSC holds 14.5%.

The shareholders approved Vietravel Airlines’ capital increase from 1.3 trillion Vietnamese dong to 2.6 trillion Vietnamese dong on April 28, 2025. The board confirmed its completion on December 5, 2025.

The new licence also records Vietravel Airlines’ new headquarters in Hanoi, replacing its previous registered address in Huế.

What’s next for Vietravel Airlines?

In early 2026, Vietravel Airlines said it planned to adopt a new name as part of the next stage of its restructuring.

T&T Group said in April that the carrier was finalising its new name and brand identity, though neither has been disclosed yet.
