TAP Air Portugal launched a new direct flight route from Lisbon to Florianópolis on Tuesday. The inaugural flight, TP109, arrived at Hercílio Luz International Airport yesterday. This marks the start of a regular service with three flights per week.

Luís Rodrigues, President of TAP, shared his thoughts about this new route while attending the inaugural flight:

We’re thrilled to add this new destination to our route network. We’re confident that this flight will be popular with both Brazilian and European travelers. The strong demand we’ve seen since opening sales for this route is a testament to this.
