Saudia, the national carrier of Saudi-Arabia, has announced it is introducing Google’s Find Hub share item location feature to help passengers locate lost or delayed baggage. The announcement makes Saudia one of the first airlines globally to incorporate this feature.

Ensuring Guests Feel Informed

Passengers using a compatible tracker tag or Bluetooth accessory can generate a secure link, which can then be used by passengers to report a delayed or lost bag by attaching it to their baggage claim record. By providing the airline with access to location information, ground staff can locate and retrieve missing luggage more efficiently.

Guests can stop sharing location information at any point, with the link expiring automatically after seven days.

Discussing the announcement, Chief Guest Experience Officer at Saudia, Rossen Dimitrov, said:

“Our focus is on giving guests confidence and reassurance throughout their journey. Initiatives like this reflect our broader commitment to clarity, transparency, and ensuring guests feel informed and in control at every stage of the experience. It is about strengthening trust and providing peace of mind through thoughtful, guest-centered decisions.”
