Budget airline Jet2 announced a major expansion to routes from Bournemouth (BOH), London Stansted (STN) and Jersey (JER) airports as part of its Summer 27 program. The expansion included new exclusive Jersey flights from Bournemouth and London Stansted, enhancing Jet2’s offer to the Channel Island.

Jersey flights grow

Jet2’s new Jersey flights from Bournemouth Airport will run weekly on Saturdays, with the London Stansted flight running three days a week on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays.

Jet2’s Jersey offer increased to eight routes, adding five new and tripling its capacity to 155,000 seats compared with Summer 26. The budget airline said the growth in its Jersey routes came as a response to growing demand and is offering £60 off for customers booking its trademark Jet2Holiday trips to Jersey.

Steve Heapy, CEO of Jet2, said:

“We are seeing enormous demand from customers and independent travel agents for our award-winning flights and holidays, so we are delighted to be expanding our Summer 27 programmes from Bournemouth Airport and London Stansted Airport, as well as to Jersey.”

“The addition of these brand-new and exclusive routes gives customers even more choice and flexibility when booking their next flight or holiday. As an award-winning airline and tour operator, we know customers value the combination of great flight times, a VIP customer service experience and ATOL-protected package holidays, and we look forward to taking even more customers away next summer.”

New Bournemouth and London Stansted routes

Jet2 also increased its international offer from Bournemouth Airport, with new exclusive routes running twice weekly to Paris on Mondays and Fridays, as well as weekly flights to Italy’s Verona.

London Stansted will also see a route expansion to key tourism destinations around the world, including Egypt’s Hurghada and Sharm El Sheikh, Spain’s La Palma and Costa de Almeria, Greece’s Thassos (via Kavala), as well as Paris and Tunisia.
