Corendon Airlines will expand its network with new services to Bulgaria’s Black Sea coast, while Istanbul will also join the carrier’s European network from July 2027.

The airline will operate up to eight weekly flights to Varna and Burgas, providing access to Bulgaria’s popular Black Sea resorts.

The first of the new Bulgarian services is scheduled to depart Cologne/Bonn for Varna on 15 May 2027, with further services introduced progressively.

Istanbul will become another new destination for Corendon Airlines in summer 2027.

From 1 July 2027, the airline will operate twice-weekly flights from both Düsseldorf and Cologne/Bonn to Istanbul Airport (IST).

The Turkish city is expected to receive increased international attention in 2027, with Istanbul due to host the European Games and welcome the return of Formula 1.

Corendon maintains UK–Antalya services

Despite changes in market conditions, Corendon Airlines will maintain its direct UK connections to Antalya for summer 2027.

The airline plans to operate:

  • Glasgow – Antalya: twice weekly
  • Manchester – Antalya: three times weekly
  • London Stansted – Antalya: three times weekly

The continued services will provide UK holidaymakers with direct access to Antalya, one of Türkiye’s most popular leisure destinations.

Matthew Carpenter, UK Country Manager at Corendon Airlines, said the airline was taking a more disciplined approach to capacity for 2027 following a challenging year for the aviation sector.

“For 2027, our focus is on disciplined consolidation and strengthening our operational and financial resilience.”

Carpenter added that Corendon would remain committed to direct UK–Antalya connectivity while positioning the market for longer-term development.

Curaçao service to launch in December

The new summer 2027 destinations will build on Corendon Airlines’ previously announced expansion to the Caribbean.

The airline is due to launch flights to Curaçao in December 2026, adding the Dutch Caribbean destination to its network.

The new service forms part of Corendon’s broader presence in the Caribbean, where the wider tourism group also operates hotels.

Corendon reports positive passenger feedback

Alongside its 2027 network plans, Corendon Airlines has highlighted positive feedback from passengers during the current summer season.

According to the airline’s customer survey, 87% of respondents rated Corendon positively for value for money, while almost 90% said they would choose to fly with the airline again.

Corendon Airlines currently operates an extensive network connecting European markets with holiday destinations across Türkiye, Greece, Egypt and Spain, among others.

The airline said its flights can be booked through travel agencies, its website and mobile app, as well as through tour operator partners.

With the addition of Bulgaria and Istanbul, alongside the upcoming Curaçao operation, Corendon Airlines is set to enter summer 2027 with an expanded range of destinations while maintaining its established UK–Antalya programme.
