Jet2.com has launched its Winter 2027/2028 schedule, opening bookings across 12 UK airports for flights to eight major ski destinations in the Alps and the Dolomites. The expanded programme puts almost 470,000 seats on sale across 43 routes, with travellers offered a 22 kg ski carriage allowance as standard.

Jet2.com widens its winter programme with more alpine destinations

To support passengers travelling with heavy winter gear, the airline has introduced tailored baggage options. Customers benefit from a 10 kg hand baggage allowance, alongside choices for 22 kg of checked luggage and 22 kg of dedicated ski carriage.

Steve Heapy, CEO of Jet2.com and Jet2holidays, said the early release builds on the strong performance of last year’s programme. He noted:

“We enjoyed another fantastic ski season last winter, and with skiers and snowboarders already looking ahead to Winter 27/28, we have responded by launching another exciting ski programme for next winter. With perfectly timed flights at the most popular times and a range of ski destinations to choose from, we are certain next year’s ski programme will be our best yet.”

The schedule also reflects a deepening partnership between Jet2.com and airport operators. Glasgow Airport (GLA), in particular, is set to benefit from the expansion.

Jonathan Ford, portfolio manager at AGS Airports, welcomed the development:

“The launch of Jet2.com’s Winter 2027/28 Ski programme from Glasgow Airport is fantastic news for Scotland’s ski and snowboard enthusiasts. With direct access to Geneva and the outstanding resorts of the French and Swiss Alps, customers can start planning their winter getaways well in advance. We are pleased to continue growing our successful partnership with Jet2.com and look forward to welcoming passengers travelling on these popular services.”

The programme covers Chambery, Grenoble, Geneva, Innsbruck, Lyon, Salzburg, Turin and Verona, offering a mix of weekend, long‑weekend and mid‑week options.

The expansion coincides with a fleet milestone for the airline, as Jet2.com’s 30th eco‑efficient Airbus A321neo has now entered service, supporting increased flexibility for alpine travellers next winter.
