In the annual DesignAir Awards, Etihad Airways has received the 2024 Design Airline of the Year Award. This is the second consecutive year that the national carrier has been crowned with the prestigious aviation accolade. Already renowned for luxury and hospitality, the awards further attest to the airline’s stature and commitment to service excellence.

Prestigious Recognition for Pioneering Design

With a commitment to inflight luxury and passenger comfort, Etihad Airways has earned global recognition for pioneering design. The airline is popular with passengers for it investment in service offerings. From bespoke amenity kits and loungewear to modern, mood-lit cabin interiors, Etihad Airways is constantly incorporating elegance, comfort and functionality into their designs.

The national carrier’s unique design ethos is promoted in both the aesthetics of its aircraft and its inflight essentials. From the iconic tail fin featuring the ‘facets of Abu Dhabi’ to co-branded Giorgio Armani amenity kits and plush, stylish loungewear, Etihad Airways is no stranger to style and sophistication.

The UAE national carrier can boast an impressive portfolio this year. The 2024 DesignAir Award is the latest accolade to be added to the airline’s accomplishments. Etihad Airways recently also received global recognition in the World Travel Awards 2024. The airline won awards for Best Customer Experience, Best Economy Class, and Best First Class Lounge at Zayed International Airport. As a leader in luxury and innovation, the awards secure the airline’s stellar reputation in the competitive world of commercial aviation.
