From Oct. 25, 2026, Nairobi will become the 32nd destination served by Emirates’ Airbus A350.This aircraft model brings Emirates’ Premium Economy cabin to Kenya for the first time, along with an improved Business and Economy Class cabin.
Onboard the next generation Airbus A350
As an aircraft model within Emirates’ fleet, the A350 can accommodate up to 298 passengers in three cabins consisting of Business, Premium Economy and Economy.
Business Class follows a 1-2-1 layout which balances leisure and privacy. The fully lie-flat seat is wrapped in soft cream leather and has wireless charging. The back of the cabin features a snack display area allowing passengers to enjoy refreshments throughout the flight.
For its Kenya debut, the Emirates’ Premium Economy cabin can be compared with the Business Class on most airlines. It features a spacious cabin with leather seats, adjustable headrests and significant legroom. It is also furnished with a wood-finished side cocktail table along with an amenity kit for the Dubai-Nairobi flight route.
Economy Class onboard the A350 features a new colour scheme of sky blue, bronze and cream alongside soft-toned wood furnishings. Each seat features the upgraded ICE inflight entertainment system along with a 13.3inch 4K adjustable touchscreen alongside leather headrests.
Emirates’ services in Kenya
The deployment of the A350 follows Emirates’ expansion in Kenya, including the introduction of the third daily Dubai-Nairobi flight in July. With 21 flights per week, customers can enjoy better connections between Kenya and the rest of the world.
Nairobi is also home to Africa’s first Emirates World store, which opened in 2024. Now, Emirates passengers can experience an immersive customer experience.
