Raising the bar on the Economy travel experience, Air Canada now offers complimentary beer, wine and exclusive Canadian-made snacks on all their flights, including routes to Mexico and the Caribbean (subject to availability).

Launched on Sept. 1, these upgrades reflect the airline’s commitment to delivering award-wining service for all customers, and a sharpened focus on leisure travelers as recognised by the international air transport rating organisation, Skytrax.

Vice President of Loyalty & Product at Air Canada, Scott O’Leary said:

“As part of our commitment to elevating the onboard experience, we’re delighted to introduce even more exciting new options to our menus. These upgrades offer something for everyone and proudly showcase Canadian brands so that our customers can sit back, relax and kick-start their travels no matter where they’re going.”

Air Canada’s complimentary drinks and snacks include:

  • A Canadian household favourite, MadeGood Mornings Cinnamon Bun Soft Baked Oat Bars, along with TWIGZ Craft Pretzels and Leclerc’s Celebration Cookies for Morning flights before 10 am.
  • An energising kick to the day with organic and plant-based products, such as Greenhouse Ginger Defence Wellness shots. For Toronto-Downtown Billy Bishop flights after 10:30 am.
  • Air Canada Bistro now features more Canadian-made choices, from Summer Fresh Hummus & Crackers and Quaker Maple & Brown Sugar Oatmeal Cups to bold new TWIGZ Sour Cream & Onion Pretzels and fan-favourite Smarties.
  • Air Canada also introduces Heineken 0.0 onto their flights, becoming the only North American airline to serve a non-alcoholic beer inflight, complementing its system-wide free beer and wine offering.
