Air Serbia Network Expansion

Air Serbia will launch direct flights to Miami International Airport (MIA) in Florida, on May 20, 2027. This will establish its fourth destination in the North American continent, with other routes to John F. Kennedy International Airport (JFK), Chicago O’Hare International Airport (ORD) and Toronto Pearson International Airport (YYZ).

New services to Yerevan, Armenia will begin at the end of March 2027, followed by flights to Helsinki, Finland in April 2027. Other planned routes include Cluj-Napoca, Romania at the end of May 2027 and Chișinău, Moldova and Menorca in June 2027.

Expansion to Support Passenger Growth

Air Serbia recorded its strongest monthly performance in Aug. 2026 carrying 616,479 passengers, a 10% increase from Aug. 2025. The airline transported over three million passengers in the first eight months of 2026, which is its strongest record for the January-August period. It operated a total of 34,641 flights in that time, up 5% from the previous year.

The CEO of Air Serbia Jiří Marek said:

“This milestone reflects the dedication of our employees, our continued focus on enhancing the passenger experience and the ongoing development of a strong route network that offers customers an ever-growing range of travel opportunities from Belgrade.”

He added that the new routes are aimed to support rising demand:

“Further network growth will be accompanied by fleet expansion, providing additional capacity to support the continued development of the company and improve connectivity for passengers across our network.”

Tickets for these new destinations went on sale on Oct. 20 for the 2027 summer season.
