Air India Flight Attendant Falls out of 777

An Air India Boeing 777-300, registration VT-ALN performing flight AI-864 from Mumbai to Delhi (India), was preparing for departure from the gate. A flight attendant (53) attempted to close one of the doors of the aircraft, however, fell off the aircraft onto the tarmac and received serious leg injuries. The flight attendant was taken to a hospital.

The airline reported an unfortunate incident when the flight attendant (53) fell off the aircraft and received leg injuries while attempting to close a door. She has been taken to a local hospital. An investigation is underway.

The aircraft reached Delhi with a delay of 75 minutes.
