Air Canada has opened its first Air Canada Café at Québec City Jean Lesage International Airport (YQB), introducing a 97-seat premium lounge space for eligible passengers. Operated in partnership with Plaza Premium Group, the new facility marks the first dedicated Air Canada-branded lounge experience at the airport and becomes the airline’s seventh Café location. The opening forms part of Air Canada’s wider investment in its airport lounge network, with a focus on expanding premium passenger facilities across Canada.

Locally inspired design and passenger facilities
The new Air Canada Café has been designed to reflect Québec City’s cultural identity, incorporating local artistic references and regional design influences. The space includes works by Canadian artists Antonietta Grassi and Douglas Coupland, alongside interiors inspired by the city’s landscape and French heritage.
The 97-seat lounge offers areas for working, dining and relaxation, with power access at each seat and productivity-focused seating layouts. The menu features locally sourced products and items developed with Québec-based and Indigenous partners, including breakfast dishes, regional cheeses and artisanal ingredients. A self-service food area and full bar are also available, catering to a range of dietary preferences.

Lounge network expansion and access
Air Canada said the new opening is part of its broader strategy to modernise and expand its lounge network, with more than 500 additional lounge seats added globally over the past year. The airline continues to invest in upgraded lounge spaces across key Canadian airports, including Montréal-Trudeau (YUL).
Access to the Québec City Air Canada Café is available to eligible domestic passengers, including Aeroplan Elite members, Star Alliance Gold members, premium co-branded credit card holders, and Business Class customers departing on eligible flights.
