China’s SF Group has chosen Singapore Changi Airport (SIN) as its first overseas logistics hub, marking a significant step in the company’s international expansion strategy.
The agreement, signed with Changi Airport Group, will see Singapore positioned as a key gateway for SF’s growing cargo operations across the Asia-Pacific region.
Strategic Expansion Across Asia-Pacific
The partnership centres on establishing SF Group’s first major logistics base outside China at Singapore Changi Airport. Under the five-year memorandum of understanding, the company plans to scale its air cargo network and flight frequencies through Singapore.
The hub will support expansion into Southeast Asia, South Asia, and Oceania, enabling more efficient transport of time-sensitive and high-value shipments. With Singapore’s strategic location and strong connectivity, SF aims to streamline regional logistics flows and improve delivery times.
SF’s aviation arm, SF Airlines, already operates an extensive fleet of freighter aircraft and maintains regular cargo services between China and Singapore. The new hub is expected to strengthen these operations further and increase capacity in the coming years.
