Jet2, renowned leisure carrier, is set to launch a new route connecting Edinburgh and Pula by 2027. The route is set t0 begin operating on May 2, 2027, on a weekly basis.

Larger Strategic Partnership
Last year Jet2 collaborated with the Croatian National Tourist Board in order to put together a four-year strategic partnership with the specific goal of significantly increasing tourism from the UK to Croatia.
The agreement was signed in November 2025, during the World Travel Market in London, and it states that by the summer of 2026, the carrier will be operating 19 routes between several United Kingdom airports and three Croatian destinations: Split, Dubrovnik and Pula. Jet2 has committed to establishing many new routes and significantly increasing its flight capacity to Croatia over the following several years.

What It Means for Tourism
The leisure carrier will now start working collaboratively and closely with the Croatian National Tourist Board on joint marketing campaigns with the goal of increasing tourism between the two countries. They will work together to release targeted campaigns, digital, social media and out-of-home advertising, as well as co-branded video and promotional content.
David Neill, corporate affairs and sustainability director at Jet2, said he’s:
“Delighted to sign this agreement, which will see us officially partner with the Croatian National Tourist Board for the next four years. Croatia is a much-loved destination with our customers, and we look forward to driving further growth through this fantastic co-operation.”
The four-year agreement is set to increase the tourism industry in Croatia, as well as bring new customers to the leisure carrier, hopefully being a mutually beneficial agreement.
