Air New Zealand has unveiled its business Premier and Economy cabin designs for the Boeing 777-300ER. The designs include an upgraded interior and a more comfortable look for passengers. The new design will elevate the cabin’s interior and introduce a new style.

The Design Breakdown
Air New Zealand has revealed the Business Premier Cabin will have 44 new Collins Elevation seats and a 43-inch pitch that converts to lie-flat beds. Each seat has a door for privacy, and centre seats feature sliding privacy dividers.
All seats have 18-inch screens with Bluetooth audio and USB-A and USB-C ports. The number of seats remains the same, with updated features.

The Economy Details
The economy cabin will feature ergonomically designed seats and an upgraded 13-inch entertainment screen. Economy stretch seats will have a 35-inch pitch, while standard Economy seats will have a 31-inch to 32-inch pitch.
The upgraded cabins are said to have two additional seats compared to the current configuration.
The Premium Economy cabin will remain the same, keeping the plane’s capacity at 340 seats.

Further comments
Since its introduction in 2010, the aircraft required an update, as mentioned by the airline’s chief customer and digital officer:
“It is finally time to raise the bar…”
The upgrade is said to bring a more comfortable experience for passengers.
“Upgrading the Interiors means we can keep the aircraft flying for longer, while reducing the maintenance demands… The upgrade will also deliver a modern experience for our customers and bring similar functionality.”
The Passenger Accommodations layout will maintain the current seat count: 44 business class, 50 premium economy, and 246 economy class seats, with 16 that can convert to Sky couches.
