Paterson details his new role as a ‘fantastic opportunity to lead a dedicated team’

January of 2025 saw the announcement of AviAlliance acquiring AGS Airport Group. AviAlliance is one of the world’s leading private airport operators, with plans to invest £350million over the next five years across AGS’ airports.

The investment will support growth and decarbonisation across Aberdeen International Airport, Glasgow Airport and Southampton Airport. As part of the investment, upgrades to the airfield infrastructure and energy efficiency projects at Aberdeen are now in place to ensure the airport if fully equipped to meet future demand.
