Emirates has introduced an additional flight to meet demand, optimise presence, and boost connectivity in Egypt, totalling the departure frequency to a six-weekly schedule.

Emirates Introduces Additional Daily Flight
Scheduled flights on a six-weekly frequency have been announced by Emirates, flying from Dubai International Airport to Cairo International Airport. Boosting connectivity and presence within Egypt, the airline have revised their current Dubai-Cairo schedule to coincide with the growing demands of the winter season, and optimising tourism between the two cities.
With a current schedule of four-daily flights, the airline will increase frequency to six-daily with amendments to the timings to complement the existing timetable.
“As one of the region’s busiest gateways for both passengers and cargo, Cairo has long been a key destination for Emirates. The additional service will make it easier for customers to connect across our network, while fostering strong trade and tourism links between Egypt, the UAE and the wider world.” shares Emirates’ Deputy President and Chief Commercial Officer, Adnan Kazim.

Cairo and Dubai Partnership Boosts Connectivity
Longstanding connections between Egypt and UAE have encouraged the partnership of the two connecting airports to boost tourism and encourage industrial and commercial developments.
Egypt has been one of the earliest destinations for Emirates global network, with Cairo as one of their highest deployment rate airports.
“The additional frequency is set to boost connectivity between the two countries, while also increasing cargo capacity in and out of Egypt, offering 300 tonnes via the belly of the Boeing 777, weekly. Emirates SkyCargo, the airline’s freight division, uplifts key commodities, including beloved Egyptian fresh produce such as strawberries and other fruits and vegetables, further stimulating the economy and connecting Egyptian businesses with their global customers, quickly, reliably and efficiently.” shares Kazim.
