British Airways has announced a significant expansion of its flight services from key Middle Eastern cities to London Heathrow, enhancing travel options for both leisure and business passengers. Starting this October, the increased flight frequencies aim to meet rising demand and provide smoother connections through the UK’s busiest hub.

More Flights from Bahrain, Riyadh, and Jeddah

Travellers flying out of Bahrain will soon benefit from a daily British Airways service to London, more than doubling the current frequency. This move will add over 9,000 additional seats between Bahrain and London, improving flexibility for customers planning business trips, family visits, or holidays.

Saudi Arabia will also see an increase in capacity. Flights from Riyadh to London will rise to 12 per week during winter 2025, with a further increase to 14 per week by summer 2026. Jeddah will see its service expanded to five weekly flights in summer 2026, up from the current four.

Abu Dhabi Route Upgraded to Daily Service

British Airways is reintroducing daily flights from Abu Dhabi to London Heathrow starting winter 2025. This upgrade reflects the growing demand for travel between the UAE and the UK, and is part of the airline’s broader strategy to strengthen its presence in the Gulf region. The enhanced schedule will make it easier for passengers in the UAE capital to connect to British Airways’ global network via London.

Enhanced Connectivity and Comfort for Middle East Passengers

The newly expanded services have been scheduled to align with onward connections from London Heathrow to over 200 destinations worldwide. British Airways continues to prioritize customer comfort and cultural sensitivity on these routes, with Arabic-speaking cabin crew available on select flights from Riyadh, Jeddah, and Bahrain.

Passengers on these routes can choose from four travel classes: First, Club World (business), World Traveller Plus (premium economy), and World Traveller (economy), to suit different travel preferences and budgets. See more about British Airways HERE.
