Plaza Premium Lounge Johor Bahru

The Plaza Premium Lounge Johor Bahru has opened in Senai International Airport, providing services to eighty travellers before they board their flights. The lounge is open to passengers on both domestic and international flights.

The new implementation of self-check-in kiosks, QR code food ordering, and the integration of the Smart Traveller App allows for efficient and streamlined services. The use of technology demonstrates the modern elevation of the lounge and a commitment to customer satisfaction, as guests are able to easily personalise their experience, connect rewards, and smoothly transition through the lounge and airport.

The lounge has purposefully integrated Malaysian culture and heritage with the decoration of purchasable artwork of Malaysian artists and the offering of authentic food and beverages. This includes signature dishes such as otak-otak and Laksa Johor, which provide guests with the opportunity to experience the unique taste of Johor Bahru. These speciality meals fit in line with the lounge’s ‘Proudly Local’ concept. Guests can also grab a quick bite at the Lounge To-Go corner if they are short on time.

Cavin Loh, Regional General Manager (Southeast Asia) at Plaza Premium Group, has commented on the opening of the lounge:

“Plaza Premium Lounge Johor Bahru is more than just a place to wait for your flight – it’s a space to experience the best of Johorian hospitality, art and innovation. Returning to Johor Bahru with Plaza Premium Lounge is an exciting moment for us. By seamlessly blending technology with local culture, we are excited to redefine the travel experience for both domestic and international passengers at Senai International Airport.”
