70% Increase from Last Year’s Revenue

On 10 February 2025, Starlux Airlines published their overall revenue for January 2025 of 4.238 billion TWD (£104 Million). This amount is 70% more compared to the revenue last year and is increased by 25% compared to the previous month. This significant increase shows the immense opportunities ahead for the airline in the coming year.

First commenced in 2020, the airline takes advantage of the post-pandemic travel boom when joining the Asian aviation market, providing connections between key Asian tourist destinations.

Strategic Expansion: New Routes, New Markets

The airline has announced the addition of a new flight route scheduled in June 2025. The new route connects Taipei, the home base of the airline, with Ontario, California, U.S.A. This meets the demand for the Chinese and Asian population living around the area, and further consolidates their market share in the region.

The number of flights connecting the North American region and Asia is also planned to increase, in order to cope with increasing demand and new markets, according to the airline. The airline is also increasing flights between key Asian tourist cities.
