It has been recently announced that Air Canada has been recognised as one of the top employers for young people within Canada in 2024. This is the first time that the airline has had recognition of this.

Recognition is awarded to employers who share innovative and forward thinking programmes designed for young workers to get involved. These include things such as metorship, training, career opportunities, and social responsibility.
Air Canada Leads for their Innovative Programmes in 2024
The editors of Canada’s Top 100 Employers, evaulated each employer based on the differing programmes they offered to young people as a way to attract and retain younger workers.
The airline was selected as one of the leading employers for young people in 2024. This award was based on several criteria, such as:
- They offer paid internships across a variety of fields, such as engineering, marketing, business etc.
- Buddy systems as a way to help young workers intergrate successfully into the organisation.
- Numerous professional development opportunities for young workers.
