Emirates’ new A350 aircraft will start flying to new destinations by September 2024. The airline recently announced that it will deploy its brand-new A350-900 aircraft for its first set of destinations, and Bahrain will act as the inaugural destination. The aircraft will serve short- and medium-haul airline routes.
Emirates is expected to receive all its 10 new A350 variants by March 31, 2025. However, the airline plans to introduce new destinations as they receive the aircraft in the upcoming months. The first 10 aircraft are equipped with a modern cabin design, featuring 32 next-generation business class seats, 21 premium economy seats, and 259 economy class seats across three cabins. Passengers will now have the opportunity to enjoy the latest design and increased comfort.

9 New Destinations Unveiled
The introductory aircraft will operate to 9 destinations around the Middle East, West Asia, and Europe. The first glimpse of Emirates A350 will be witnessed by Bahrain with daily services from Dubai (DXB-BAH) on September 15 by EK839/840, and the frequency to Bahrain will be increased by November 1. The second destinations under short-haul operation are Kuwait and Muscat.
September 16 (EK853/854) will operate daily services to Kuwait, and Muscat’s daily services will commence from December 1 (EK866/867). When it comes to the Asia sector, Mumbai will receive the EK502/503 by October 27, followed by Ahmedabad’s daily (EK538/539) will also be served from October 27. The 4th daily service to Columbo will commence on January 1, 2025 (EK654/655).
In the European sector, Lyon, Bologna, and Edinburgh will have aircraft sight by the end of the year. Lyon and Bologna will receive daily services by December 1, and Edinburgh will rejoin the network of Emirates and will commence by November 4
