Emirates will soon operate its newest Airbus A380s with Premium Economy cabins to Manchester and Milan.

About the Upgrade

The A380s, retrofitted to introduce the Premium Economy cabins, will begin service on EK017/018 to Manchester from June 6 and EK091/092 to Milan from July 1.

From June, Emirates will offer about 5,000 Premium Economy seats per week to and from the UK. This includes the enhanced service to Manchester, the four daily retrofitted A380s on the Dubai-London Heathrow route, the Emirates A350 to Edinburgh, and the enhanced Boeing 777 to London Stansted from May.

Milan will become Emirates’ second Italian gateway to welcome the airline’s new cabins and Premium Economy seats, following the planned deployment of the A350 to Bologna later in June. It will take Emirates’ retrofitted A380 to 19 global destinations.

By July, Manchester and Milan passengers will be able to enjoy Emirates’ new cabin experience on the four-class A380 to hot spots in Australasia and Asia. The destinations include Sydney, Singapore, Osaka, Mumbai, Bangalore, and many more.

Experience on retrofitted A380s

The Premium Economy cabin on the four-class Emirates A380 is located at the front of the main deck with 56 seats in a 2-4-2 layout. The seat offers generous pitch and width, in-seat power charging points, and a side cocktail table.

The onboard experience includes specially selected in-flight amenities, a bespoke menu, and a wide beverage selection, including the Chandon Vintage Brut 2016, which is served exclusively to Emirates Premium Economy passengers.
