The Air Canada Foundation has released its 2025 Impact Report, outlining its charitable activity across Canada and detailing $2.1 million raised and distributed over the year. The report highlights funding generated through employee, donor and partner contributions, including $1.3 million from its annual golf tournament and 42 million Aeroplan points, which support community and healthcare-related programmes nationwide.

Healthcare access and community programmes
The Foundation’s work is structured around three pillars: Health (supporting paediatric care and medical access), Protection (addressing social and economic vulnerability) and Dreams (supporting experiences for children facing illness or hardship).
Throughout 2025, the Foundation worked with 473 charitable organisations to deliver programmes supporting children and families in Canada.
Initiatives included seven Autism Aviation Day events involving more than 130 families, 605 trips under its Hospital Transportation Programme to support medical access, and more than 550,000 meal deliveries addressing food insecurity.
Aeroplan points contributed by donors supported the Hospital Transportation Programme, helping families travel to medical appointments.
The Foundation also supported eight humanitarian situations, providing airline ticket donations and logistical assistance to partner organisations.

Employee participation and volunteer engagement
Air Canada employees contributed to the Foundation’s activities through both fundraising and volunteering. In 2025, employees donated more than $70,000 and volunteered at 28 events nationwide, with over 900 staff taking part.
The Foundation said employee involvement remains a key part of its operations, supporting its ability to deliver programmes in communities across Canada.
