In time for the festive period, Qantas has unveiled its festive fleet with special Christmas livery and double points for December travellers. As Christmas approaches, Qantas is celebrating the holiday spirit in the skies, offering passengers a memorable way to celebrate the season while travelling. With millions of customers set to travel over the Christmas period, Qantas is guaranteed to make the journey a festive experience.

Festive Livery for a Merry Christmas

Throughout December, the airline will be spreading the Christmas cheer with a special Christmas Livery, seasonal menus, as well as offering double Frequent Flyer loyalty points for passengers on these select flights. Embracing the holiday spirit, the airline has decorated two of its iconic aircraft in special Christmas Livery. The Christmas Makeover includes the QantasLink Q400 “Dasher 8” and the Boeing 737 “Roo-dolph”. The aircraft have been decorated with festive designs to celebrate the season. These aircraft will fly throughout December, treating lucky passengers to an extra surprise- double frequent flyer points.

A Merry Inflight Experience

For those flying internationally, Qantas has also introduced seasonal menus for its First Class and Business Class passengers. Featuring dishes inspired by holiday flavours and made with Australian producers, a Christmas culinary experience is guaranteed. To further accomodate the Christmas experience onboard, Qantas has also expanded its inflight cocktail program with new creations for the holiday season. The airline unveiled an exclusive Bloody Mary mix and a brand-new signature cocktail, the Qantas Aviation Spritz. The Aviation Spritz will be available across international economy and premium economy cabins.

Qantas Group Chief Customer and Digital Officer Catriona Latritt expressed excitement for the airline’s Christmas preparations, saying:

“We know our customers, especially the youngest ones, love flying on our special festive aircraft and so we are delighted they are making a return in 2024.

“Our teams have been working hard over several months to prepare our operations to be ready to help millions of customers to see their family and friends throughout the holiday season.”

Qantas is set to reveal more Christmas-themed initiatives over the holiday season. But so far, the national carrier’s Christmas upgrade is already sure to delight passengers of every age.
