United Airlines Emergency Landing

On Dec. 28, 2025, United Airlines flight 2410 from Dulles International to Salt Lake City International was thrown into a state of chaos when a passenger began displaying erratic behaviour, and initial attempts by the cabin crew to resolve the situation were unsuccessful.

Jordan Robert Langston, 25, reportedly got up from his seat and began waving his hands around, declaring, “This is a simulation.” When pressed by cabin crew on what he meant, Langston claimed “this flight” was a simulation.

The captain raised a level 2 security threat, but planned to continue to the destination.

Authorities reported that shortly after Langston began shadow boxing in the aisle and punched a member of the cabin crew in the face.

Passengers apprehended Langston, and he was restrained with plastic cuffs. The flight made an emergency landing at Eppley Airfield in Omaha, Nebraska.

Langston was met by law enforcement at the airport and later arrested by airport police.

On Dec. 30, 2025, United States District Court of Nebraska Magistrate Judge Michael D. Nelson ruled that Langton will be detained pending trial.
