Airbus has kicked off day three of the Farnborough Air Show with an order for six A330neos!

The customer is listed as unidentified and no delivery date has been provided.

No information exists as to whether the order is for the A330-900 or A330-800.

Embraer killed it yesterday with an incredible collection of orders!

Here’s them all wrapped up:
Azul orders 21 E195-E2s.

Wataniya orders 10 E195-E2s with 10 options.

Republic Airline orders 100 E175s with 100 options.

Helvetic orders 12 E190-E2s with 12 options.

United orders 25 E175s.

Mauritania Airlines orders two E175s.

Nordic Aviation Capital orders three E190s.

Undisclosed customer from Spain orders three E195E2s with two options.

In total, these deals add up to 176 firm orders (127 E1 + 46 E2) + 124 options (100 E1 + 24 E2) equaling 300 aircraft worth $15 billion.

Yesterday Boeing pulled in a healthy order from Air Lease Corporation for 78 aircraft.

The order consists of 20 firm 737 MAX 8s, commitments for 55 MAX 8s and three 787-9 Dreamliners.

Boeing states the deal is worth $8.6 billion at list prices.

VietJet has signed a memorandum of understanding for an additional 100 Boeing 737 MAX aircraft.

The deal, worth $12.7 billion at list prices, consists of 80 737 MAX 10s and 20 MAX 8s.

Once the order is made firm, the airline will become the largest MAX 10 operator in Asia.

This MoU adds to VietJet’s existing order for 100 high-capacity MAX 8s.

In addition, the agreement covers engineer and pilot training as well as Boeing supporting the airline in improving management capabilities at the airline and in the country.

Airbus has locked in another order for the A320neo family.

Viva Aerobus has ordered an additional 25 A321neos and converted their existing order for 16 A320neos to the A321neo.

This new order and conversion takes the airline’s total order book to 80 A320 family aircraft.

No engine selection has been made, however it’s likely they’ll stick to Pratt and Whitney PW1100Gs that are currently powering their four A320neos.

Uganda Airlines has placed a firm order for four Bombardier CRJ900s.

The order has a list price value of $190 million.

The aircraft will be the first Atmosphere cabin to be operated in Africa. The aircraft will be configured with 76 seats in economy and 12 in first class.

Excellent news for Airbus as the A330-800 finally has a customer!

Uganda Airlines has committed to two A330-800neos .

The deal was placed at the Farnborough Air Show by the airline’s chief executive.

The aircraft will be configured in a three class layout with 20 business class seats, 28 premium economy seats and 213 economy seats.

The decision was made due to the aircrafts excellent long range performance and incredible reliability, as seen during the recent route proving trip.

The A330-800 will perform it’s maiden flight towards the end of this year.

Once again, here is the full order list for Wednesday 18th July at Farnborough Airshow 2018.
