US FlyHouse

US FlyHouse (or just FlyHouse) is a tech-driven private jet management and charter platform. The app directly connects travellers with the aircraft owner in order to get lower and more transparent prices by bidding on charter requests. When inquiring, you get instant quotes and real-time availability make booking quick and clear. This is efficient and preferable as it cuts out middlemen and fees.

FlyHouse accommodates for different needs for solo flyers and groups such as needing custom amenities. Their safety and support system is also efficient and ensures FAA compliance, offering 24/7 assistance for the entire journey.

Sun Air Jets

Sun Air Jets is a Southern California-based private aviation company. They offer private jet charter, aircraft management and maintenance services.

The company is known for its high safety ratings and sustainability focus, due to them offering Sustainable Aviation Fuel. They also have an award-winning Fixed-Base Operator (FBO) at Camarillo Airport (KCMA).

This company handles all aspects of private jet ownership. This includes:

  • Pilot services
  • Maintenance coordination
  • Tax/regulatory compliance
  • Asset protection for owners

What the Acquisition Means

FlyHouse will have full ownership of Sun Air Jets’ assets, operations and personnel. This includes:

  • A larger managed fleet
  • Expanded hangar
  • Ramp
  • Service infrastructure at Van Nuys and Camarillo
  • An FBO at Camarillo
  • A Part 145 repair station
  • More than 100 employees.

Earlier in the year, a FlyHouse spokesperson told ch-aviation that both Part 135 certificates would be merged under Sun Air Jets, and plans further acquisition in the coming months. Meaning that the air carrier or operator holds a FAA certificate.

Due to this acquisition, FlyHouse is gaining several super-midsize and large-cabin business jets from Sun Air Jets. Therefore, FlyHouse are able to add to their managed fleet and charter network, though specific individual aircraft models aren’t detailed in the primary announcements.

Jack Lambert Jr., CEO of FlyHouse, said:

Our agreement to acquire Sun Air Jets represents a defining move in FlyHouse’s growth… Owning a 145 repair station, and expanded fleet and premier facilities at Van Nuys and Camarillo fundamentally changes our capabilities. We’ve built FlyHouse to be the first ecosystem brand in private aviation, one that owns its infrastructure, integrates technology at every level and delivers a service experience that’s seamless end-to-end.
