Edinburgh Airport Goes Premium

The opening of Turkish Airlines’ new airport lounge at Edinburgh Airport marks the airline’s first European lounge outside of Türkiye and represents a milestone in the ongoing partnership between Turkish Airlines and Plaza Premium Group.

Turkish Airlines currently operated 10 flights a week between Edinburgh and Istanbul, connecting the Scottish capital with the extensive Turkish Airlines network. The lounge is open to Turkish Airlines Business Class passengers, eligible Miles&Smiles members, and selected cardholders, as well as guests with a paid lounge membership.

The lounge’s menu features a range of Halal-certified, hot and cold food and drinks. The lounge, which is furnished with a modern design incorporating sweeping views of the runway and natural light throughout, is also split up into different zones, with each zone including its own facilities, such as a premium seating area, a VIP area for private relaxation, two prayer rooms and a nursing room for the comfort of families with infants. It has capacity for up to 149 guests. Customers can find the lounge on Level 2 of the airport.

Speaking about the opening of the new lounge, Okan Küfeci, Senior Vice President of EMEA at Plaza Premium Group said:

“This lounge represents our vision of blending authentic Turkish hospitality with the highest international standards. We are proud to create a space that not only meets the expectations of our Business Class and Star Alliance passengers but also offers a memorable, serene experience for all travellers. Edinburgh is now home to a lounge that truly embodies the spirit of Turkish Airlines.”

Turkish Airlines Celebrates New Lounge

Mehmet Akif Konar, Chief Operations Officer at Turkish Airlines, issued the following statement regarding the lounge:

“The opening of our new Turkish Airlines Lounge at Edinburgh Airport marks an important milestone for our airline. As our first abroad lounge in Europe and our eighth outside of Türkiye, this investment demonstrates our deep commitment to our European operations where we already possess a strong presence as the best airline of the continent. Looking ahead, we will continue to build on our presence in the region and bringing our award-winning hospitality closer to travellers here.”

The new lounge was also met with praise by local figures. Stephanie Wear, Chief Commercial Officer at Edinburgh Airport, said:

“The opening of the new Turkish Airlines Lounge marks an exciting chapter for both us and the airline as they launch their first lounge in the Europe abroad at Edinburgh Airport. It demonstrates Turkish Airlines’ commitment to the airport and to enhancing the travel experience for passengers. Open to all travellers, the lounge offers a relaxing space with fantastic runway views and some great food and beverage options whilst you wait for your flight.”

I recently tried to Cracked APK from a verified source and found it super helpful. The Beta APK version provided access to features like Android MOD download and Safe APK download which made the experience much smoother. I also checked for security before installing the Updated MOD APK and everything worked perfectly. Always look for safe APK download sites to ensure reliability and clean installations.
