Skytrax’s World’s Best Airlines 2025 Revealed

As the results of Skytrax’s World’s Best Airlines are revealed, Qatar Airways is crowned the World’s Best Airline, followed by Singapore Airlines and Cathay Pacific. This is Qatar’s ninth win for the title as the world’s best aviation carrier. Read more to find out more details about the awardees.

World’s Best Airlines: Top 3

1: Qatar Airways

This year marks Qatar’s ninth win of this title, and the airline continues to be a benchmark of excellence in the aviation industry. Through high-quality service and ever-increasing connectivity, the airline also won the title of  ‘World’s Best Business Class.’

2: Singapore Airlines

The airline has always been renowned as the carrier with the best crew, as one of Asia’s flagship carriers, it also earned the title of ‘World’s Best Cabin Crew’ in 2025, continuing its win from 2024.

3: Cathay Pacific 

Cathay, a carrier rooted in Hong Kong, regains its throne in the top 3 after plunging to the 16th in 2022. As a carrier that strives to weave local culture into in-flight experiences, Cathay is a unique carrier that connects the international finance hub where it calls ‘home’ to all the key cities around the world. The airline also won ‘World’s Best Economy Class’ this year with an upgraded premium-economy cabin.

Other Notable Mentions

Cleanest Airline: EVA Air

Ranked with cleanliness of the cabin, carpets, trays, washrooms and more, EVA Air proudly come first this year. The airline is also aiming for clean fuel, with increasing use of Sustainable Aviation Fuels (SAF).

Best in-flight entertainment: Cathay Pacific

With regular updates of the newest entertainment content, Cathay Pacific crowns this category this year. This also shows the airline’s strength in providing high-quality onboard services and connectivity, with guaranteed 100% Wi-Fi and in-flight entertainment provision on all flights this summer.
