Saudia has announced a new direct route from London to Dammam. The route, launched in partnership with the Air Connectivity Program (ACP) and Dammam Airports Company (DACO), will be operational from November 2025.

Saudia expands international network

The national flag carrier of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia will operate three weekly flights between King Fahd International Airport in Dammam and London Heathrow Airport in each direction.

This is the third direct flight route from London Heathrow to Saudi Arabia, following Jeddah and Riyadh. The airline currently operates 38 weekly flights to London Heathrow Airport from Jeddah and Riyadh. Saudia is working on expanding its international network through strategic route development.

The airline, in an official press release, said:

“The new Dammam–London connection underscores Saudia’s role in advancing the objectives of the National Aviation Strategy while reinforcing efforts to strengthen the Kingdom’s global tourism links in collaboration with the Saudi Tourism Authority.”

The airline will begin operations on the route from November this year, with ticket bookings available through its online platforms, including its website and mobile app.

The airline further said:

“Saudia remains committed to delivering a seamless guest experience, starting with premium ground services that facilitate airport procedures and extending to onboard services that highlight authentic Saudi hospitality.”

Earlier this year, Saudia launched a luxury lounge at the London Heathrow airport for its first-class and business-class passengers.

Connecting the UK and Saudi destinations

With this latest route, the airline connects London to five Saudi destinations. Including this latest route to Dammam, it also flies to Jeddah, Riyadh, Medina, and Neom Bay. In the first half of 2025, the airline flew 447,287 passengers aboard 1,933 flights to London Heathrow alone. Apart from the Heathrow airport, Saudia also operates flights to London Gatwick Airport, Manchester, and Birmingham.
